Still One Of Us
Reporter: Would it amuse you to hear that every Red Sox fan is rooting for you to beat the Yankees?
Pedro: No, it wouldn’t. It wouldn’t surprise me at all. I know that they don’t like the Yankees to win, not even in Nintendo games.

Megwhyte:

This is my friend UGH! Ryan Kelley.  Some of you might know him from real life, some of you might know him from the internet… I’m lucky enough to have both.  In any case, this suave gentleman and I last night got into a heated discussion about how I shouldn’t root for the Yanks in the World Series because I used to live in Boston and I’m his friend.
Ugh, I get it and all, but I also lived in New York for 22 years of my life, and while I lived in Boston, Fenway Park lay in between my office and my apartment, which made commuting on game day rather hellish.  I also am a Mets fan, which makes the Frillies my division rival, and there is no chance in HELL I will ever ever root for that team.  Ever.  EVAAAAR.

Apparently Meg’s time here in Boston wasn’t as magical as I had hoped. Which is probably why she up and left for Portland. Still, the Yankees? Seriously?
Agree to disagree Meg, go Phillies!
