As some of you know last week I said goodbye to the great team Gamesville/Lycos team. It was a hard decision to leave Gamesville as I really loved what we were building and was on a roll heading into 2010. I wasn’t necessarily looking for a change of scenery but was recently given an opportunity to join the team at Quick Hit here in Foxboro, MA, working on their massive free online football strategy game. This was a HUGE opportunity I could not pass up and I started here in the office this week.
At Quick Hit I’ll be doing a lot more of what I’ve done over the past two years at Gamesville, working on Product Management and Social Media. This is an awesome opportunity to work on a fantastic product that’s more in line with my gaming interests and I’m so psyched to start talking about it! I’ve always really wanted to break into online sports gaming and this has been a great chance to see that dream through.
If you’re a football fan and haven’t had the chance to get into the game I HIGHLY recommend it. I was a big fan of what Quick Hit way before we began talking about me coming aboard. After meeting the team I confidently say they are a bunch of football fanatics (like myself) who are out to make the best online football game possible.
